Find Hope Through Counselling 〰️

Life feeling overwhelming?

If this is true for you then meeting with a caring, supportive counsellor can really help.  Maybe you’ve experienced a loss or a past trauma is still disturbing you. Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety, lack of confidence, need space to work through feelings, or to work out why you behave in the way you do. If you’re someone who doesn’t want to talk in depth about a past event, you may benefit from EMDR therapy where traumatic memories are processed through guided eye movements. Whatever the issue is I am a good listener and want to help if I can.

How Can Counselling Help Me?

Are you struggling with any of the following or do you just need space to work things through with a good listener, someone who cares.

  • Bereavement

  • Traumatic memories

  • Depression

  • Low Confidence

  • Anger

  • Relationship Issues & Breakups

  • Making Decisions

  • Anxiety and Fear

  • Personal Development

  • Finding Your Strengths/Appreciating Your Value

  • Spiritual issues

  • Other Issues

Get in touch

Hi, I'm Colin. Please take a look around my website to get an idea of how I can help. I am an experienced and trained counsellor, a member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), and an accredited counsellor with the Association of Christian Counsellors. I am an integrative therapist, which means I am trained in various therapies, including EMDR trauma therapy and CBT to help with negative thinking. I offer help to individuals and couples and provide supervision for other counsellors.

For anyone interested in finding out how the sort of counselling I offer can help you, why not try a 15-minute 'try and see' consultation, free of charge? This is an opportunity to ask me questions and for me to better understand your situation and how I may be able to help. We can do this online, so it is very easy to arrange. So why not contact me to have a chat? We can talk about whatever you are struggling with, something personal to you or a relationship with someone that's troubling you. Please see my contact page.

Three clients comment at the end of their therapy:

“Thank you Colin for your time, and the energy and wise words you have helped me with, I have really appreciated your help trying to unravel the ‘real’ me.”

“A huge thank you for your time, patience and your help and expertise. I have learned a huge amount about myself through the exercises we have done, through the models you have shown me and the books you have recommended”.

“I can really say that I enjoyed my voyage of self discovery with Colin around how I manage and approach personal relationships.  At all stages Colin has been supportive and so easy to work with, it was a pleasure to go through this with him and it really has helped me as well as the improvements and confidence I now have”.
